Fun At The Park

We took the girls to a park down the road from where we live on a Sunday afternoon and besides the heat we all had a good time.  Avery is learning to do the slide and Ella wished she could do the monkey bars but she doesn't quite have the arm strength yet.  The picture of Ella with her tongue out is for Grandma Shanny because it will drive her crazy with her hair in front of her face :) Love ya Mom!

Oregon

In May the girls and I made a trip to Oregon and Boise to visit family.  We had so much fun and it felt like it went too fast.  I helped my parents re-do one of the bathrooms in their house and it was a big project but it turned out beautiful.  All I have to say is that I hate taking down wallpaper!!  Ella had  a great time with her cousins and Avery had fun sitting in her highchair feeding the dogs cheerios.  We were able to see Madison do her dance recital and she was the one all the girls looked to see what came next .. she was great.  It was such a fun trip and we were so glad to be able to go.  Enjoy the pictures.

Ella's Birthday

My baby turned 4 and I can't believe it.  I feel like the last 4 years have flown by.  We had a little family party and then she had her party with her friends.  She has been telling me for months that she wanted a pinata for her party so I made sure that we had one.  All the kids loved it and it turned out to be a great day.  

 Avery wasn't too sure about the cupcake but she quickly decided that it was okay...she ate the whole thing.

Busy Weekend

On the first weekend of April we drove to Utah and had a busy weekend.  Aunt Evelynn got married, we celebrated Easter and Uncle Byron had his mission farewell.  It was great to see so much family and have a little vacation.  The girls had a great time with their cousins and of course uncle Dave and aunt Karma.  Enjoy!

Ella was very happy to celebrate her birthday with aunt Wendy.  She was also excited for the new barbies she got as a present :)

Loving Colorado

We have really enjoyed being back in Colorado. Wayne is really liking his job and staying really busy. The girls and I keep busy at home and try to find some fun things to do around Denver. We have made some good friends and really like it here. Here are some pictures of what we have been up to lately...enjoy!

December

The month of December was fun and busy. We went sledding, celebrated Wayne's birthday and were visited by my parents and brother for Christmas. It was a very fun month. On Christmas Eve we went to the train museum by our house and even though we were blinded by the snow...that is why Mikey is wearing my sunglasses...it was a really cool place to visit. Christmas morning was great and we all were spoiled. Ella got a big girl bike from Santa but wasn't nearly as excited as I thought she should be. Avery slept through most of the opening of presents but was happy to get some new binkies. We hope you all had a great holiday season. FYI...Wayne and Mikey built a snow-lady if you look closely :)
